Hi, my name is Jan from Australia and I am a retired pensioner.
After being widowed 2 years before retirement and being thrown into having to deal with all of life’s trials and tribulations on my own, I rediscovered who I am and what I wanted to do in my retirement without the support of a spouse.
While I have leaned on my friends and family, the road to my personal growth and freedom wasn’t without challenges. This blog is not a normal travel blog explaining different destinations to you. It is about showing you that solo retirement does not have to be lonely, and that you too can live your dreams no matter what age you are.
I am on an Australian pension so need to watch my pennies and if this is you too, then know you can travel like I have. I will show you through my articles what the tips and tricks are to cheap travel and how to live a fuller life.
Hopefully me sharing with you how I solved these issues will encourage you to do the same and SPEND YOUR CHILDREN’S INHERITANCE!
What I will be sharing with you is:
- Stories of Success and Failure
- Life Changing Moments
- Travel Tips and Tricks
- Important Tools and Resources
